With the Cold Foil process, a foil base layer is applied to the sheet after which it is overprinted with colour to create different foil colours.
Using this technology you can foil in as many colours as you like, in one pass, and with no expensive dye costs. Additionally, we can replicate printing onto metallic boards at a significantly reduced cost, which allows us to create numerous eye-catching effects.
Cold Foil is also capable of producing much larger areas than Hot Foil and with more intricate detail.
